“A Warm Wave of Safety: Modernizing the Shelter”

Project description:

The project promotes the safety and well-being of residents of the Fedorivka village council by creating the necessary conditions for long-term shelter during times of greatest need and security threats.

Project goal:

Install heating systems in the existing shelter in the village of Fedorivka, Dar’yivska Territorial Community, and ensure comfortable conditions for residents to use it year-round.

Target groups:

Residents of the Fedorivka village council who are using a single shelter. Among them are children, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups, for whom staying in an unheated shelter poses an additional health risk.

Visitors and guests of the village council, employees of institutions and organizations located within the village, participants in events held periodically in the shelter, as well as residents of neighboring villages who may use the shelter during emergencies if necessary.

Expected outcome and impact:

Installation and commissioning of a heating system in a 150 m² shelter.

Informing residents about the availability of warm and comfortable shelter.

Ensuring that residents of the Fedorivka village council have access to warm shelter suitable for long-term occupancy. Among them are 133 children, 16% internally displaced persons, and 9% people with disabilities.

The project will improve safety for residents of the Fedorivka village council in the Darivka community by creating the necessary conditions for the regular use of a single shelter during air raid alerts.
