Successful completion of the project "Creation of a social laundry for vulnerable population groups in the village of Dar'ivka, Kherson region"!

The social laundry in Dar'ivska hromada is a specially equipped room with two washing machines and two dryers of different capacities. Repairs were carried out in the premises, electrical equipment, sewers, doors were replaced, necessary materials, furniture were purchased, washing agents were purchased, a boiler and a hand washer were installed. There is also a room for folding laundry, storing detergents, etc.

The implementation of the project "Creation of a social laundry for vulnerable sections of the population in the village of Darivka, Kherson region" is aimed at providing laundry services to categorical families. Laundry services can be used free of charge by categorical persons/families (military personnel and their family members, war veterans and their family members, family members of dead (deceased), missing war veterans, single and single elderly people, pensioners 65+, persons with disabled, IDPs, large families, single parents, low-income families, families affected by the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP and during shelling by the aggressor country).

The activity (Project) is implemented within the grant competition "Flexible Small Grants Ukraine - 2024", which is implemented with the financial support of DanChurchAid / Norwegian Church Aid.
