Launch of a new social project: "Establishment of a social laundry in Dar'ivka community, Kherson region"

🌟 Congratulations on a new way of helping! We are announcing the launch of a new social project: "Creation of a social laundry in the Dar'ivka community of the Kherson region"! 🙌

The implementation of the project is possible thanks to the support of DanChurchAid and Dar'ivka village council.

Our goals:

• Arrangement and repair of the laundry room.
• Provision of free laundry services for vulnerable categories of the community population (people with disabilities, children with disabilities, large families and elderly people living alone)
• Provision of organization of collection and delivery of clothes by bicycle to the laundry and back for persons who cannot obtain this service on their own.

Vulnerable sections of the population will be able to use laundry services once or twice a week, depending on the need.

It is planned to start the laundry in the second half of May this year. The service will be provided on the basis of the Center for Social Services of the Dar'ivka Village Council. Within the scope of the project, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, a boiler, and laundry detergents have already been purchased.

The successful implementation of the project in the Dar'ivka community will serve as a model for the creation of similar laundries in other communities in the de-occupied territories.
