Supporting children and youth of front-line communities

Once upon a time, our team in Severodonetsk had its own office space with a tennis table, table football and sport simulators. We remember what it was like to get together after work or during a break, play table football or tennis, work out on the gym. These were moments of laughter and togetherness. We thought that we would like to give this joy to others, especially to children, who are now in dire need of active leisure.

In the frontline areas, young people often face a lack of safe and comfortable places for leisure. That is why we are happy to announce that within the framework of the project "Strengthening public activity in the restoration and development of the village of Dar'ivka" two modern premises for active pastime are already functioning!

The premises are renovated and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable pastime. Young people will be able to: Play sports on new sport simulators 🏋️‍♀️ Play table tennis 🏓 Compete in table football ⚽️ Arrange movie sessions with a projector on a large screen 🎥

On hot days, these cool spaces will be an ideal place for useful and fun leisure. It is important for young people in the frontline areas to have a safe and comfortable place to relax. In conditions of insufficiently developed infrastructure, such initiatives create space for development, communication and active recreation.

This project was made possible thanks to the support of our partners. Many thanks ISAR Yednannia for the opportunity to create such a space for young people and Dar'ivka village council for active participation in project implementation. Special thanks Humanitarna Nova Poshta for free delivery of equipment and furniture for equipping premises.

The activity (Project) is being implemented within the framework of the grant competition "Strengthening public participation in early recovery processes in the freed territories", administered by ICSSA Ednannia with the support of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Fund, funded by partner countries.

Now there are more places where you can see happy faces in Darivska hromada! 😊
