The webinar "Opportunities for the development of Ukrainian communities in times of war" brought together over 180 participants from 50+ communities
On April 15, as part of the Carpathian Sea Democracy Week, an online webinar "Opportunities for the Development of Ukrainian Communities in Conditions of War" was held, bringing together over 180 participants from more than 50 communities in Ukraine.
Among the speakers is Iryna Karashchuk, co-founder of the NGO "Center for Community Development Logistics", an expert in finance, strategic planning, and digital solutions for the development of territorial communities. In her speech, Iryna focused on:
🔹 how communities can effectively present their potential to investors and partners; 🔹 what investors are looking for today, and how to prepare to attract funding; 🔹 why green energy is not only about ecology, but also about the economic sustainability of the community.
New features of the CLS platform, a digital strategic planning tool, were also presented. This webinar was a preparation for the main event, the Carpathian Sea Democratic Week in Truskavets. See you soon!
NGO "Center for Community Development Logistics" completed the 2nd stage of the ImpactCheck program
We are pleased to announce that the NGO "Center for Community Development Logistics" has joined 30 organizations that have successfully completed the second stage of the ImpactCheck educational grant program!
The program has become a powerful tool for our development — we have gained new knowledge in fundraising, strategic planning, risk management, and Due Diligence. This is another step towards strengthening our institutional capacity and openness to international partnerships.
Thank you to the organizers — NGO "International Agency for Change" and the FUNdraiser platform — for their valuable experience and support!
The ImpactCheck program is implemented with the assistance of Action Against Hunger within the SPRAVA consortium, funded by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
Yesterday in Kyiv, at a Ukrainian-Turkish business meeting organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry / Ukrainian CCI, Turkish companies were told about the investment opportunities of our partner communities - Darivska (Kherson region) and Doroshivska (Mykolaiv region)
They showed us community projects at CLS – just go to the website and everything is at your fingertips
Multilingual interface – Ukrainian, English, and this time Turkish has been added!
We agreed on further communication. We will try to do everything to interest partners in investing in our communities, because our goal is the economic development of Ukraine!
We help communities modernize their infrastructure!
The catering unit of the Lyceum of the Ovadnivska Community (Volyn Oblast) now has a project and estimate documentation (PKD), which has been examined and uploaded to the EUDESSB. This makes it possible to apply for funding through DREAM and take another step towards modern and safe feeding conditions for children.
💡 What does this mean for other communities? The project is included in the CLS reuse database, which allows communities to use a ready-made solution instead of developing it from scratch. This saves resources and significantly speeds up the modernization process.
🔹If your community needs a ready-made project to update food banks or other social infrastructure - contact us!
We are grateful to Humanitarian Nova Poshta for the free delivery of documentation for our charitable projects. Thanks to you, important changes are happening faster!
Dariv Village Council: Thanks to the USAID DOBRE Project
We know that true treasures are knowledge and opportunities. That is why we are happy to announce the start of a new ambitious stage! Together with Chemproject company / Хімпроект and V. Dahl East Ukrainian National University, we are bringing a unique project back to life – the Student Construction and Architectural Bureau (SCArB). This is not just a revival of past experience, but an investment in the future of communities, students, and teachers!
In 2019-2020, as part of the USAID project “Economic Support to Eastern Ukraine”, PrJSC “Chemproject” created a modern computer classroom and integrated advanced CLS and “BiTech” technologies into the curriculum. Today, we continue this successful experience.
What are we planning now?
We are reviving SCArB – a platform where students and teachers implement their knowledge in real projects.
Creation of typical projects for communities that will be developed with the participation of students using modern digital solutions.
Finding investors to implement the developed projects - we will help students find support for their ideas and ensure the integration of these projects into community development strategies.
This initiative will not only allow communities to receive modern development solutions, but will also help students and teachers gain unique practical experience, feel their contribution to the restoration of Ukraine, and become part of great changes.
SCArB is a place where communities, students, and faculty come together to create a modern future. Together, we are creating real change for Ukraine!
📌 Follow our updates and join our initiative!
The initiative is implemented within the framework of the CLS Ukraine project.
